Lefokastro lies a little to the side from the well established route of tourists and it is ideal for people who really do know how to enjoy a quiet, lovely place, away from the overcrowded beaches.

There are some beautiful villages in the area: Horto, Argalasti, Milina, Lafkos, Trikeri, as well as lovely mountains for hiking and beaches for swimming.

One can also visit eastern Pelion mountain and go to its famous beaches on the Aegean Sea , such as Ai-Giannis, Horefto, Ntamouhari, Tsagarada, Mylopotamos, etc.

If one is interested in sports or in some other creative pastime, we can suggest special sailing or scuba-diving classes. Hiking or biking are also an option along with snow or aquatic ski, horse riding or yoga classes.
